| Built overlooking the Wind River Valley and the Absaroka Mountains this majestic log home is western living at its best. The native log structure is accented with tongue and groove gables, river rock foundation, and a hand pealed log handrail. Stroll up the native stone walkway, up the half log steps, between the log columns, under the massive log truss to the hand carved hickory door with the elk antler handle to enter this 6000 square foot home. Once through the door, the open design, massive log purlings, use of natural materials through out, not to mention the breathtaking views through the north wall of windows, gives you that feel of the West. The hickory hardwood floors and cabinetry are a great combination with the natural native logs. Granite counter tops accent the cabinetry. Native stone from the property was used on the front of the island with a natural contoured log slab for the island top. The two sided fireplace and the wood stove alcove are of native moss rock, each with its own personality. The rustic theme continues throughout this home, with the antler chandelier, leather tooled light shades, and custom pine doors.
